The village of Anjuna in north Goa is a five square mile enclosure overlooking theArabian Sea and with a hill in the background. It is one of the most popular beaches in Goa situated 8 km west of Mapusa and 18 km from the capital Panaji. It has an unusual arrangement of red laterite rocks, spread across the white sands, known as the Jewel of Anjuna or Ozran.
